Current Projects1/12/2012- Provided funds to ship a container of meals to Asia.- Helped provide dental care and supplies to various clinics in Asia. - Continue to help and rebuild Joplin. See these items in this year's gift catalog by clicking here- Provided short wave radios for evangelism projects throughout Asia. - Provided food relief and development projects for many poor areas through out El Salvador. 10/27/2011- Provided $50,000 to help feed 35 drought-stricken villages through their local churches.- Provided more flood relief in many parts of Asia. - Volunteers in the US helped in Joplin, Mississippi, and North Carolina with clean up and rebuilding. Volunteers also helped us pack food for Haiti relief. 10/20/2011- Sent over $90,000 to North Carolina for disaster repair and rebuilding that will help with 7 homes and a damaged church from hurricanes.- Provided medical kits for evangelists in Asia. - Provided flood relief for one village in Asia. 10/13/2011- Continue to help teams clean up in North Carolina after a hurricane.- Building homes in Joplin, MO. - Continue to help with food relief in famine regions across Africa. 10/06/2011- Helped ship a container of medical supplies to Eastern Europe.- Helped refugees in Asia. - Helped provide clean drinking water for a school in Eastern Europe. 9/29/2011- Still helping with the drought in East Africa by providing food relief to Tanzania and Kenya. Find out more by clicking here.- Helped with flood relief in the United States. - Has volunteers working in North Carolina, Mississippi, and Joplin, MO with rebuilding those communities. 9/22/2011- Helped provide a shipment of food to Zimbabwe.- Provided funds to drill two wells in India. - Helped with development projects in an orphanage in Asia to help with ongoing hunger and income needs. 9/15/2011- Sent an additional $6,000 to help with hurricane relief through our North Carolina D.A.R.T. team.- Provided $25,000 for flood relief and repairs in the Philippines. - Helped with hunger relief and medical clinics in India. 9/08/2011- Continued to help fund flood relief efforts after Hurricane Irene. Sent an additional $25,000 to help with clean up and with our DART teams.- Built ten more homes in Haiti as part of our Rebuild Haiti Campaign. - Continued to help in Kenya, Tanzania, and with Somalian refugees. 9/01/2011- Continued to help with the famine in Kenya, Tanzania, and with Somalian refugee camps. Click here for more information.- Sent emergency funds for hurricane relief along the East Coast. - Helped with medical and hunger needs in Japan. - Continue to help and rebuild Joplin. Additional funds were sent this week to help with this effort. IDES Joplin Relief 8/25/2011- Provided 10 new clean drinking water sources in Haiti.- Provided funds for three wells to be built in India. - Helped a family recovering from a fire in India. 8/18/2011- Provided $10,000 for relief supplies for refugees in Asia.- Sent $31,500 to Tanzania to help with the drought and Somalian refugees. - Provided a solar pump in Tanzania to give sustainable energy to their mission. 8/11/2011- Rebuilding Joplin continues. Thank you for all the volunteers and prayers for Joplin.- Continued to help with famine relief in Somalia, Kenya, and Tanzania. - Provided food for Somalian refugees into Kenya. 8/04/2011- Sent funds to help with a development project in India. This chicken farm will provide income and food source for an orphanage.- Sent $50,000 for ongoing hunger relief in Kenya and Somalia. - Helped with Somalian refugees. 7/28/2011- Provided emergency food relief for four months in East Africa and Somalia.- Provided a water tank and treatment for a village in Columbia. - Purchased food and supplies for starving people in Asia. 7/21/2011- Provided medicines for India.- Helped rebuild homes lost in a fire in Asia. - Provided three motorbikes for evangelists in India. 7/14/2011- Continuing to work in Joplin and Mississippi. We are full for Joplin until the end of the year but we need workers in Mississippi. Click here to learn more about these projects.- Provided funds for food, oil, and medicines to Haiti to fight hunger and cholera. - Helped with a medical need in Asia. 6/09/2011- Continue to work in Joplin and Mississippi with tornado relief.- Executive Director, Rick Jett, visited Joplin to see how IDES can partner with the churches and coordinate volunteers and funds. 6/02/2011- Provided additional funds to replace 10 more homes destroyed by flooding.- Sent funds, supplies, and volunteers to Joplin to help after tornado. - Provided medical supplies for Haiti to treat victims of cholera. 5/26/2011- Provided funds for Bibles and blankets for Asia.- Provided funds for printing the "Pictorial Acts" Bible. - Continued helping in Haiti with rebuilding homes and clean water. 5/19/2011- Provided $15,0000 for TB treatments in Asia.- Provided funds to ship two truckloads of food and water for tornado victims. - Continued clean up and rebuilding efforts in Mississippi. 5/12/2011- Provided $10,000 for 5 water purifiers for Haiti.- Provided an additional $50,000 for Haiti rebuilding efforts. - Helped feed impoverished families and high risk children. -Provided medical kits for Asia. 5/5/2011- Provided $10,000 to help rebuild Ferguson Christian Church's roof in Missouri. The tornadoes took the entire roof off and the Church is helping with rebuilding their community. Please keep them in your prayers.- Worked to get work teams and funds to flood and tornado victims in the United States. - Continued to provide aid for earthquake victims in Japan and Myanmar. 4/28/2011- Provided $100,000 to build more homes in Haiti.- Continued to provide aid to Myanmar and Japan after earthquake. - Shipped three containers of food and supplies to Haiti. 4/21/2011- Provided $18,000 for tools and for reconstruction training for Haitian's to learn skills. These skills will help rebuild Haiti and provide an ongoing income stream for their families.- Helped provide funds for a children's home in Mexico to provide them safe drinking water. - Continued to provide aid for earthquake victims in Japan and Myanmar. 4/14/2011- Helped over 500 families in India after a fire.- Provided development funds to help grow crops to feed 600 families in Africa. - Continued to provide aid for earthquake victims in Japan and Myanmar. 4/7/2011- Continued to send emergency aid to Myanmar and Japan.- Added a new missionary contact to continue helping in Japan. Including relief supplies (clean food, clean water, blankets) in various areas hit hard by the earthquake and tsunami.
