Many of the countries marked by a pin on our map contain multiple projects sometimes with multiple partners. Note that in many of these cases only one pin is used.
One additional reason not all of IDES' active projects are included on this map is because a number of projects we are working on at any given time are taking place in a Restricted Access Country.
Why are there more total projects than pins on this map?
What's the difference between highlighted projects and other projects?
The highlighted projects section is a cultivated collection of a handful of our active projects that changes on a regular basis as our work constantly progresses around the world. These projects are hand chosen to represent the main focus areas of what we do in action: Disaster Response, Development, and Disciple-Making.
